Hello, my name is Dr. Dave Stefan. I’d like to welcome you to the Come Alive Counseling and Coaching Collaborative, where we offer online and in-person individual therapy and counseling services based in Cincinnati, Ohio and career, well-being habits and personal coaching nation wide through virtual sessions.
I know life can feel overwhelming and confusing (and also hopeful) when you decide to reach out for professional counseling or mental health support.

As someone who has faced significant personal and professional challenges and come out on the other side with a much richer and more grounded sense of who I am and my place in the world, I can understand the range of emotions you might be experiencing.
Throughout my life, I have worked hard at my own mental and emotional well-being. Along with individual therapy, I have explored and applied research-based practices that have helped me change my unhealthy beliefs, manage my emotions, and find greater fulfillment in relationships.
I have also created unique experiences to figure out and find peace with my life, including trekking up Everest, volunteering with the United Nations World Food Program in Nepal, and walking alone into the Cascade Wilderness on a three day, solo fast vision quest.
My approach to working with others is informed by what has helped me personally but also rests on four pillars of education, experience, science-backed research, and proven therapeutic techniques.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Credentialed Professional and Well-being Habits Coach, I have worked with individuals and groups on a spectrum of concerns, including:
