Create a Life Change Project
Along with my work as a therapist, college professor and coach,
I've designed a number of projects for myself to help me
navigate personal and professional, career and
life transitions, including:

1. Turning 40: A Year of Not Cutting My Hair, So I Could Write a Book
2. Figuring Out My Purpose in Life: 12 Months to LIVE
3. Finding a Partner, Peace with God, and A Job to Like: Project 46
4. Managing Seasonal Depression: The Gratitude Visit
5. Coming Out, Finally: Breadcrumb Tales
6. Turning 60: Love, Wonder and Creating Worlds

From my experience in helping others and crafting my own projects over the past 30 years, I've developed a process called the Good Life Positioning System or GlPS. This approach includes the following elements: 1. identifying interests and passions, 2. clarifying values, 3. assessing personality traits, 4. discovering strengths, and 5. reflecting on your personal story.

I've written a couple of articles (Find Your Ikigai: How to Bolster Meaning and Purpose in Life and Conrad's Quest: Navigating the Labyrinth of Life to Discovering Ikigai – An Amalgamation of Cases and Conversations) that might help introduce this approach from different perspectives, but I will also be launching a series of videos and a course in the weeks and months to come.

Hello, and welcome again to the Good Life Lab and this page about creating a project that could ultimately change your life, or at least get you moving in a positive and meaningful direction.
