Service Description
Positive Psychology and Coaching for the Good Life: Designing Well-being Projects for Personal and Professional Growth This two-month Learning Collaborative features a small group experience (8 to 12 peers) that helps participants design a personal or professional well-being or what we call ikigai (reason for being; meaningful life) project. Through life coaching concepts and positive psychology research, peer groups will learn how to coach and encourage one another through the project development and implementation process to stay on track with individual goals and objectives. Positive Psychology and Coaching for the Good Life is a virtual (online via zoom), two-month program that helps you identify your ikigai (reason for being) based on the following: what you love (core interests), what you are good at (your strengths, what the world needs (you and others), and what your values tells you. Supported by others in your cohort, life coaching concepts and positive psychology principles, you will create a short-term come alive or well-being project that will also guide you to a greater sense of your 'reason for being' (ikigai). Positive Psychology and the Good Life Learning Objectives 1. Embark on a two-month journey of designing a come alive or well-being project. 2. Understand keys to discovering your 'reason for being' (ikigai). 3. Participate in weekly group meetings with regular homework. 4. Learn life coaching and positive psychology practices to support your work. 5. Implement a project with the help of others in your cohort.
